Where a property is being purchased by a company and that company requires mortgage finance, the individual directors of the company are often required to provide a personal guarantee before the lender will allow the loan to proceed. This is a document that may result in the directors becoming personally liable for the debts and liabilities of the company to the mortgage lender.
In many cases, the lender requires the directors to be advised by a separate firm of solicitors from that which is acting for the company. With significant experience in property finance matters, our expert solicitors are well-placed to provide detailed, down-to-earth advice as to the implications of the guarantee documentation, at a fixed, competitive price. We are also able to offer discounts for advising multiple directors of the same company.
